Boxes aren’t the issue. It’s the bloated numbers of mid-level salaried supervisors. There’s so much redundant and useless “data” that these positions “manage.”

72.9 million homes have informed delivery. If USPS charged $1 per month and only half kept informed delivery that would be $437 million a year for USPS. There is money to be made.

it's a service, it's not supposed to make money. Could there be improvements? yes absolutely. But understand that a significant number of politicians, especially this administration, do not want government services to function efficiently or, indeed, at all. That can explain many wild decisions by upper management.

We have six cages full of boxes that are Customer ordered. They made up a bogus business. They never came to get their boxes. Just ridiculous. It’s a great place to get boxes for Christmas presents. All free.

I’m a rural carrier, and when I started in 2021; 90% of our parcels were Amazon. Now our office does not deliver Amazon, yet we deliver the same amount(if not more) of parcels. USPS is making their money from delivering our own parcels, I believe.

the post office is just like the rest of the federal government. overspend, always stay in debt, blame the little guy that does the work, bloated upper management making over $100k/yr with 5 people doing the same job. I can go on and on. I work at the post office too!
