See, there is one thing here, Sprout is more known for cooking normal food ((at least probably considering the new floor sneak peek)), so I feel he can cook, he just can't bake very well, which is ironic considering his ability icon yes.

I don't think the last part adds up because the toon pulling the end card is Dandy and the Astro cookie is a thing on the menu in the diner map. Plus the video is of the show so I don't think it was Astro's skill at the end, it's probably a promotion for the treat for kids to buy it. don't get me wrong they probably are somewhat bad cooks/bakers but its probably like that for laughs or a running joke in the show it doesn't really show in their physical counterparts most of the time? (Mainly them just forgetting to do stuff) if I remember, either way they just bake for fun and for their friends shown that they make stuff for them at times. At least thats how I see it
