I do it like that but I put a bath towel under my cutting board so there's no mess. Just throw it in the washer.

I'm gonna save this to show the hubs, this technique might be a winner here. Not for nothing the past couple of summers in western NY here seem unusually hot, watermelon has been a light sweet go to for us for a treat & even just for breakfast 🙂

The watermelon 🍉 we have gotten this year has been horrible. The texture is weird and no flavor. Thanks Morton. I hate cutting them but live eating them 😆 🤣 😂
