I will never understand why people think a crate is a bad thing. this is probably his safe space. yes sometimes dogs need a safe space like a crate. 🙄

My dog loves his crate, we didn't have one until a trainer recommended it. we didnt understand he needed a place to go that was only his when there was too much activity or he just wanted to chill on his own

Was the fact he felt trapped. When given a choice dogs will “den”. Now the cage is his den and his comfy spot. He can get out when he wants. Great work with him!

The treats bit is SO real. Our GSD is currently in training. He doesn’t gaf about treats when he’s overstimulated. Treats don’t solve everything.
