Honestly i wouldn't even say it's weird for him to be attracted to her. He has never seen her as a mother figure, an older sister perhaps. But they have built a mutual respectful relationship with each other. Not as mother-son, nor sister-brother...but sharing guardianship to their younger siblings. His love, will forever be hidden but his love will always be remembered.

the situation he was practically forced into is complex, being attracted to shuri is another but I genuinely cannot find faults in him. he didn't dare cross the boundary in between the two of them, matter of fact, he decided to take his situation into a state where he can provide a helping hand and protection to shuri. I love jeremy's character so bad.

At first I was very bitter towards Jeremy and is love for Shuri, but I realized I couldn't blame him. They were the same age and they could understand each other in a way no one else could, so of course he fell for her! It would be insane if he didn't fall for her 🤧
