I’m pulling my daughter out of private school because she was being made fun of and kids were making fun of her because we didn’t do something elaborate every weekend . Or if her shoes were not like theirs. When they were not even bad 😭 she’s going to public school where hopefully other kids also don’t go on vacation every weekend 😌

So relatable. Guess jeans were really popular when I was in middle school and my mom went to the thrift store and found some baby clothes that were Guess and took the patch off of them and sewed it to my jeans.

Kids are mean! One of my Kids came home one day like Mom is my Nikes fake I’m like what!? He’s like people were laughing at me saying my Nike stuff is fake! Then my youngest came home everyday asking me to wash his shoes because they would get dirty at recess and Kids would laugh saying he’s got dirty shoes like wtf!?

Kids are mean, if it’s not clothes, it’s general appearance, how you talk, how you do your makeup, how big my forehead is, how I ran in gym class, it’s always something. My biggest bully became one of my best friends after I didn’t put up with her sh*t and told her to stop being mean to people

Me too. I hated going back after breaks because the teacher would want everyone to go around and say what they did over break, and I never did anything because we were broke and it was so embarrassing when everyone was talking about their vacations.

It’s so sad how cruel kids or even adults can be! My GMA always told me how she got teased terrible bc she only had 2 outfits to wear to school. So she would make sure us grandkids had new shoes and some good clothes for school. But if it woulda been left up to the ppl raising me I would’ve never had anything “in style”.As an adult and mom now I really see her sacrifices she did for me to have a few cute outfits.

I always hated when the teacher went around the room asking what fun state we joined … it was always the beach or mountains etc for other people. I was lucky to go to the lake . Still fun but I got a lot of hate
