I just graduated from grad school and this was a big problem for me. My professor wanted to see growth but she waited until the week before grades were due to grade the bulk of our assignments. At that point, it’s useless

I swear I don’t understand these students nowadays. I remember if you didn’t turn in an assignment on time, you got a zero. That was it. I used to hustle to get my assignments on time.

Our culture has shifted from expecting students actually learn and to think critically to expecting students to just do the school work so they don't challenge the system and they can be drones as adults.
