my mom is very light skinned. all of her children are dark. she said she wanted dark children. I am brown skinned. I have always wanted to be black. very dark. like tar. I dont know why. I just love that color. I love looking at the Sudanese people. but where I come from the black men love the brown just as much as the light. so I dont understand it.

I love my complexion and I’m dark skinned. I have a son,who is dark chocolate and he’s amazingly handsome. And yes, we need to stop the foolery. I’ve never been surrounded by people with that colorism mindset.
