This is why I think that we need to reevaluate what a ‘generation’ means. Because realistically, millennials should be anyone with their Pluto in Scorpio. (1983-1995) Gen Z is Pluto in Sagittarius. Gen X is Pluto in Libra. 3 entirely different lived experiences.

I was born in 78 (baby gen x/elder millennial) and I used AIM and the internet in my friends garage on dial up. I also had typewriters and computers in school. Basically went analog world to digital world from middle school to high school. Also had a Motorola startac for emergencies only at $.35/minute and a pager lol

I’m an 86 millennial and my brother is a 92 millennial and even between us there are differences. Then we have a 76 gen x older sister and it’s wild how differently we all grew up.

I’m Gen X and I don’t comprehend who these Gen Xrs are you pretend can’t use technology. We’ve been there for the whole ride. I teach Ai automation systems and own a digital marketing firm. I don’t even know anyone my age that doesn’t have a solid grasp on tech. Could be geographical, could be bias?

I think the line in the sand you are referencing is before and after when personal computing became affordable for the majority of society. sure there are older people that early and younger people got into it late, but the median is in the age you're talking about

While we have a had a lot of changes the generation that saw the most was the people born about 1900-1925. They basically went from horse and buggy to landing a man in the moon.
