Diacetyl is NATURALLY OCCURRING IN CHEESE AND BUTTER. IT LITERALLY WOULD NOT BE BUTTER WITHOUT IT. Gods those people make me mad. I would love to see what the MAHA crowd has to say about dihydrogen monoxide.

Do we eat too many ultra processed foods? Yes. Should we take that out on the most vulnerable of our population by denying them food due to arbitrary guidelines that are not based on science? Hell no.

I can promise you they knew that these strict food restrictions for funding that they would be effectively cutting off their funding and letting many children starve.

I’m ok if soybean oil goes away. Some of have soy allergies and have limited safe foods because of soy. I’m extra screwed because I’m also allergic to nut oils and olive oil. Check ice cream. Many of them have coconut oil now…..
