this is so interesting and I never considered these perspectives!! this level of in depth analysis has been done on other FF games but I'd love to see more of this type of thing for FF6 specifically :3 side note I thought we were going an entirely different direction with headcanons and I was really excited to expound on my "Terra is aroace representation and the kids in Mobliz showed her that she could still experience love outside of a cishet lens" headcanon 😅

so is there any info on Terra's upbringing? I always imagined she would have been raised as emperor's gestahl's daughter/prised test subject. and the slave crown was a punishment for not killing on command.

I am right with you that Terra never got her memories back, most likely due to the combined Slave Crown and Trauma. You don't roast 100s dudes while hearing Kefka laugh and come away mentally clean in most cases. I also can't help but wonder what side effects Celes had from her modifications to become a rune knight.
