unfortunately in personal experience in your area the best apps are Tinder, Bumble, and OkCupid and even then there's chasers and unicorn hunters like every third swipe and what's left isn't much better. a lot of "I'm just looking for a friend!" or like 20 year old college students whose profiles show up even when you set the age to 25 minimum

I had good luck with Taimi, I met my nesting partner on there and we've been together for over 3 years, but going back to it it's gotten so much worse than it was 3 years ago. most of the features that were free are locked behind paywalls now, and the app literally advertises itself to unicorn hunters. I've consistently had the best luck with OkCupid overall, although I know some friends who've met a lot of good people on Feeld.
