Well considering even George Lucas said it wasn't for Star Trek he wouldn't have been inspired to make Star Wars. I'm gonna say Star Trek, but I love both with all my heart.

both. obviously for completely different reasons. but when it comes down to it I love lore heavy anything. LOTR. star wars. doctor who. all of it.

I'm giving it to Star Trek for giving society something to aspire to and for inspiring a generation of scientists and space explorers. . Star Wars is wonderful entertainment that is black and white, right and wrong, faith and despair. . Star Trek is hopeful but nuanced in shades of gray.

Apples and oranges. Star Wars is fantasy in space, an epic battle between good and evil. Star Trek is far truer sci-fi, and exploration of the human condition with a hopeful look at the future.
