"how is it slower" yes, it is slower because the 2jz was not designed to push 5000 pounds. it has lots of horsepower but the torque just isnt there and power to weight ratio is a huge factor. the 6.2 had the horsepower AND torque to get a challenger to 200. with the 2jz the possibilities of 200 are slim.

I just don't get this... When did we start going backwards with engine swaps? You're supposed to put bigger/more powerful engines in small, unassuming cars. Yes, a 2J can make Hellcat power, but for a solid $10k and half the reliability of the stock car to be just as quick (or slower).

Serious question is this even a upgrade? Like idk cars HEAVY but I feel like the hell cat is heavier and the engine would produce accordingly…so a hellfat swapped Supra dusts a 2jz hellcat but a 2jz brz gaps a hellcat?
