I 100% agree. Sure you can learn the same things about eachother overtime without kids eventually (I wouldn’t know bc I can’t imagine not wanting kids) but the compressed strain and stress combined with the pure joy and fulfillment only you two understand really shows eachother how you react to the ups and downs of life and how you support eachother and teaches you how to be selfless in a way nothing else possibly could. It totally changes your marriage! We have a special needs son so it adds a whole other level of things that we’ve had to work through and are still learning. But also brings more joy than we could imagine when we got his diagnosis. But it’s made our marriage so much stronger overall. ❤️Someone told me before I met my husband to find a spouse who you can picture going through life’s toughest challenges and heartbreaks with, and it helped me know he was the one and man it’s been true! He’s my rock!
