Thats how golden oak became popular too…smoke stained everything and people just thought it was an actual wood stain and was the furniture color for awhile.

Little things :
Oven cleaner eats stain and paint off cabinets. It wasn’t originally white you took the stain off of it.

Growing up my parents were both heavy smokers and we lived in a mobile home. Every spring my mom would wash the walls with Murphys Oil Soap. It always worked amazingly!

I bought a cheap camper that was smoked in alot. we had to use 409 and could see it literally melt the stain off the wall. but could only clean a little at a time due to the fumes.

I inherited my parents grandfather clock. It lived in our garage awhile with daily cleanings. The charcoal packs for shoes helped a lot. It’s awful.
