Love the shirt. Practice is great, if ya gonna annoy someone trying to sleep then practice unplugged. But amps also amplify mistakes, which you want to hear when practicing. Sometimes you can play unplugged and it sounds like you’re playing well but you can’t hear the tiny mistakes. So yes the answer is both are good. But plugged in is best for the reasons you mentioned.
