I'll be a weird one. Mattress pad, fitted sheet. Then, depending on time of year: Winter: Same, then add a couple blankets, no flat sheet most of time. Summer: Mattress pad, fitted sheet, then another sheet, either flat or fitted that's a bigger size than bed. It's too hot for blankets. the fitted sheet has perfect pockets for your feet. I don't bother making the bed, I have little dogs that will mess up all my work to burrow.

I don’t use flat sheets. 1) I don’t like my feet feeling trapped and can’t move bc sheets tucked under mattress 2) I hate having to tuck it alllllll back each morning 3) I’d prefer the heavines if the comforter then a thin little sheet on me.

Not using the top sheet is diabolical!!! 😵 it serves 2 purposes. 1. Is a barrier between you and blankets (saves on washing blankets as much), also, if you get hot, take off blankets and just have a sheet. Still covered but cool.

So I grew up with the grandma who made all of our quilts. those quilts cannot be washed very often because they would fall apart if you washed them as often as we might wash store bought quilts. i was always taught to use the flat sheet to protect the quilt from the oils of our skin or any lotions we might have put on, etc. I love a flat sheet.

My husband and I have fought about this for 17 years. I always use a top sheet, he always kicks it to the end of the bed. None of my kids like top sheets 😑

I don’t like the flat sheet, I also don’t like to sleep under the comforter, I lay on top and just use a blanket on top-then I don’t have to make the bed in the morning

I have never used a flat sheet. When I did it would always be bunched up at my feet. So yes to the fitted sheet, absolutely no flat! I am 41 and probably haven’t used it in 20 years! lol

My mom doesn’t like using sheets and that blows my mind. She just wants to lay a blanket over the mattress and sleep on top of that and I can’t stand it! I want a nice fitted sheet, deep pockets, and I want a nice flat sheet and then my blanket over that. People that don’t like using sheets have suffered trauma in their childhood and that is my belief, lol
