it was the same for me last secret lair but this one I was up 3 to 4 hrs in advance and I still had to wait 40 to 50 minutes to get to checkout

Real talk, I think the magic community is a captured audience. There will never be a consequence for bad business practices. Especially with the scalper market ensuring that products are bought.

they need to go back to print from perches. sure the can preprint but if its up for 3 days to a week then print them after the deadline then print the rest.

I'm at the point that I won't bother with Secret Lairs. 🤷♀️I got lucky with SpongeBob but between being unable to get any FF by me and the Secret Lairs, I'm good.

Unfortunately they want everyone talking about and making content about the lairs even for this negativity. So they can show metrics about how hype the demand for the external ip lairs are to future ip owners.

FF secret lair was 5+ hours waiting for nothing. Was so pissed off. I didn’t even want sonic but I got in line to try and get for my homies and all 5 of us were in queue and I was the only one to get 2 of the things.

watching people freak out about this is great. Be grateful they've done better than games workshop. "Here's cool new stuff! We'll tease you for a month about, and then when the time comes that you can pre-order, we'll let every scumbag scalper buy it up within 30 seconds. Hey, sales are sales! So you had hopes of getting it? You can wait a week until it hits stores and try to beat everyone in your area for the couple of boxes that will show up there. Maybe 4 tops. Then its another week of waiting until another 4 boxes might show up, we haven't decided yet." The systems for these are stupid, and its all thanks to scalpers, scammers, and "side hustles".
