@teachyourchildtoswim: Yup… it’s true. If this stings a little, it might be because you’ve been led to believe that swim lessons alone are the solution. But here’s the truth: Outsourcing your child’s water safety to a mystery program — without foundational prep — isn’t the answer. Why spend 2, 3, even 4 years hoping for progress in lessons that might not even be high quality? (Honestly, most aren’t.) Children first need to love the water. They need to move freely, go underwater calmly, and feel at home in it. When you skip that step — when you rush into structured lessons without real comfort — it often creates resistance, fear, and frustration. If you’re two summers deep into puddle jumper use and your child still can’t glide or float on their back... it’s not time for more lessons. It’s time to reset. Start with connection. Start with play. Even a splash pad is a better teacher than another round of ineffective “swimming lessons.” You’ve got this — and your child can absolutely learn. But it starts with you in the water, not handing it off. I can guide you to that breakthrough moment. Like I’ve done for thousands of others. ✔️My Course @prepare2swim Guide you! 💯Just know the younger they are the easier it will be!!♥️ Comment Prepare2Swim for more information!
