my paternal grandmother was breastfed until she was 4 i learned recently! it's crazy how quickly we forgot everything. she also lived in rural italy tho

So true!! Also YOU have never breastfed before and your baby has never breastfed before. Even though it’s natural, it doesn’t always come naturally for both mom and baby

AND- people were breastfeeding each others babies, moms were not the only food source for their baby… your nips need a break? No worries auntie took over. Need another hour of sleep? Literally go for it your bestie will take over!
