Shoot raw for sure. Practice one of these concepts a week: shutter speed, aperture, then manual mode to combine the two concepts. Also try to replicate photos/styles you see online

Get very familiar with with the 3 pillars of photography: aperture, shutter speed, iso. Learn early on how high you can turn your isolation before your pictures get to grainy. I've learned it is easier to edit under exposed pictures vs over exposed so I tend to shoot everything just a little under exposed. Honestly, f4 is really about as open as you will ever need (with the exception of super low light). Have fun!

This is awesome & so exciting!!! It sounds like you’re off to a great start with your camera, UV filters, shooting in RAW & using LR to edit!! Best advice i can really give you is have fun trying stuff! I myself am still in this process and find trial and error & just genuinely messing around with stuff to be the best teacher. Lots of youtube will help, but ultimately it’s all about what type of photography you want to do!
