@patty_goes_gray_again: When I decided to grow out my gray hair, I decided to document my journey on tiktok. The videos were for my own accountability. I recorded about the ups and downs, tips and tricks for those inititial weeks where the roots are showing, our confidence levels, etc. Today, my videos aren’t so much for me anymore, they are for the women who, like me, grew tired of being chained to a hairdye schedule, with hair appointments on rotation every 15 days to dye the roots. I’ve told stories about the emotional rollercoaster ride, the freedom from hairdye, the internal struggles, and more. I’ve also talked about the inmense personal growth and inner strength it’s developed throughout the process and the empowerment that comes from accepting & loving your natural hair color. I’ve met an incredible community of women who share the same discoveries and I will continue to speak up about it until dyeing your hair to hide your grays is the exception, not the rule. #hairtok #cantstopwontstop
