1st it’s not 50% of the population. 2nd they think I’m evil and demonic for believing in basic human rights. They broke the social contract. Talking to people who live a completely different reality is disorienting at best, at worst, deeply disturbing. Life is too short to hang out with cultists

If it was politics I'd agree with him. But this isn't politics. For many people it's life and death. It's safety and danger. It's moral and immoral. None of this is politics. So I beg to differ. When I know someone supports what's happening, is MAGA, or a Trump supporter I have a visceral physical reaction and immediately know that person will NEVER be safe on any level for me or my child. THAT is not politics. 😳😳😳

I hear you Scott and that would be great but today it's not just left or right, it's democracy, empathy, and pluralism versus autocracy, cruelty, and ethno fascism. These are questions of morality not preferences and I'd argue that one should place more emphasis on values than on maintaining relationships with immoral people.

No way, no how would I want someone in my life that supports the BS that is currently going down in our country right now. I draw the line at the camps. Anyone who supports what is going on in there is pure evil. Its a humanitarian issue at this point and a MAJOR character flaw.
