I was thinking about this the other day and it seems that everybody is just holding out for perfection and they're leaving their current situations for somebody they think is going to be perfect or at least for them. when I met my wife 23 years ago, we just figured we'd make it work.. 23 years later, and she wants divorce! what is the man to do now?

Expectations are way to high. Even as a divorced man approaching retirement I find woman to be very fussy and have high expectations. Dating just isn’t fun. No way I’ll ever marry again.

Great message. Reasonable comments. But imagine the women’s response if a man had said this. At some point or another, I have commented these points in good faith, and have found anger and a plethora of sexist comments. Women need to let men (not the assholes) in to this conversation

Sooooo women should just settle? Asking for a true partner is not too much to ask. I would rather stay single than put up with a manchild. The type of scare tactic you are using is exactly what pushed me to settle and marry my ex-husband. That obviously didn’t go well….
