People need to just do what works for them. I’m a homeowner and I know a mortgage is not ideal for everyone. A person can RENT for 30 years and put the money they would have spend on maint, repairs, renovations and money put into interest (from a home) and put that money into investments and come out way better than a homeowner. The renter wont be stressed either. Just do what works for your situation.

They just saying that because they can’t get a house right now due to credit or funds. Because apartments don’t care too much about credit if it’s not that bad you can get approved with conditions which means your deposit is more but you have a place to live. I rent but I’m still working on buying a home.

I’m on the home for over 20 years. Actually two homes. When I retire, I’m selling my house, leaving the country and renting in Panama 🇵🇦 I have no desire on a home again.

Home ownership is the way to go and there should not be any debate about. Because after 30 yrs the one who pays rent has nothing, just a loss of $650,000. Where you as a homeowner if you sell it you get your $650,000 in ur pocket. Renting is losing money

This is facts. There’s an individual I know that bought a foreclosure for $350k. The individual kept the house for over 20 years. Then sold the house for a lot more than what was paid for the house. The person had so much equity that the individual was able to pay cash for a house. No mortgage payment or rent anymore.

I agree with a lot of what’s said, however, when you own a home, every utility will increase as well. And let’s not mention maintenance…if that water heater goes or that central heating and cooling‼️But I get what’s being said…it ain’t for everybody 🤷🏽♂️
