Maybe because you get arrested for the smallest things now, hosting people or going to a party cost and absurd amount of money, alcohol is through the roof at bars, no one can hit a joint because of a job ( and it’s expensive too), social media will let everyone know if you made one small mistake, the list goes on

Covid, and the state of the world made us all introverts. And we are so divided that no-one has the emotional energy to "socialize" outside our tight circle of like minded friends.

1) We are broke 2) Long term social effects left from COVID… isolation has changed people, we work from home, we eat at home, we sleep at home, social construct was dramatically effected 3) We are in a “cancel culture”, why risk any type of liability socializing? You say or do one “wrong thing”and you are “canceled”, never mind hosting, the liability isn’t worth it... Things shouldn’t be this way but here we are 🤷♂️

Wow, 70% less partying? That's a bummer. Let's bring back the fun and connect more, even if it's just a simple get-together at home!

even a couple with a cooler of drinks drive home 5 miles down the road risk a 19k DUI penalty and loss of license penalty. all to just socialize. We've been separated.
