$300 weekly if meals and activities are provided! (I’m a provider in WY and this is what I charge)😊 Breaks down to $6 an hour per child. In my home I can only have 6 kids total, since my own child takes a spot, I only have 5 spots available. Parents will throw $15-$20 an hour to a random teenager for a night out yet don’t want to pay for quality care for their child during the day.🤷🏻♀️

I’m an in-home provider & although I charge no where near this amount, if I had to pay someone for good quality care that’s creating a loving, long-lasting relationship with my child, I think $250/week is a very fair amount.

I charge $250 a week in Michigan and supply literally everything. Food/snacks, diapers/wipes and all craft/activity supplies. I also pay an FT employee $20 an hour plus free daycare. I’m making about $4.50 and hour after all daycare expenses.

I just upped my rates for my current families to $60/day. Any new future enrollments will be $70/day. I am only open 4 days a week so my current families will be paying $240 a week for full time care. My daily rate is more expensive for part time and drop in care.

So interesting to see such different rates based off location. Around here average is 500-550 a week!

I charge $100 per day (10 hours), but I charge a base of $10 per hour flat. Mid/Michigan based and I provide all food/snacks, and craft supplies. It’s definitely not a “money maker” for sure! I get more out of it in snuggles than I do in actual income.

I charge 50 per day , meals and snacks included, and that’s up to 10 hours - I’m told that’s too much from parents that want the $10 a day the government promised them, but that is totally unreasonable

I charge $215 a week in CT everything included except diapers and formula. Which I will provide those too for an extra charge per week. I'm open 10 hours a day for that and then families needing longer pay $10 more per hour needed. I am on the lower to middle end for my area. But also have alot more education and experience than most of the daycares around me. I seem to get both complimented on prices being cheap and then a few parents thinking it's too expensive. For reference the nearest center is $350 a week, nothing included and has mostly teens working there, from what I have seen. Personally I think in my area $250-$300 a week seems fair, however I think at least meals should be included for that. I personally just feel I wouldn't get enough enrollment if I went that high on my prices. Plus I don't expect to get rich, just charge enough to pay the bills and have a little extra once in a while.

I live in a rural part of west TN. The daycare that my nephew was at charged $190 a week for infants. That seems relatively low compared to some of the comments.
