When you have foster dogs I always think it seems like such a fun vacation for them. Obviously adoption is the goal but no matter what they still get to go for a little holiday. Like when I go to Mexico it’s great but I’m still fine when I get back home. Just relaxed and rested up

My only dog that had a foster home before me was there for 3 months. They didn’t have the time to fully pull her out of her shell (which I’m not upset about). When I took her home she didn’t seem to miss them AT ALL. I appreciate that they kept her safe until I could find my soul dog. Not every dog gets attached! ❤️❤️❤️

I think it takes dogs longer than two weeks to adapt to a new environment so the 2 week foster seems like a great vacation for them. But every dog is different. It might confuse some more than others but I think it is better to give them a break than not. 💕

My baby waited the first 6 months of his life in a shelter. Got him on a random Tuesday at Petco getting dog food for my other dog. Best impulsive decision ever

I got my Astro after he was adopted but when they found out he had been treated for an ear infection they freaked out. Their loss. My gain. He will be 14 next month. Knowing that beforehand would have saved them a trip to the shelter.
