Cosmo teacher of 9 yrs here. Was this a rule displayed anywhere that you agreed to? Or was this an “instructor” rule? Keep records, but request a meeting with the director immediately. And file a formal complaint so that it’s documented. I’d also contact state board and/or DOE.

Cosmo school is such a joke and honestly just ridiculous. I don’t understand how they take $20k from us but don’t actually teach us anything. Also the curriculum should be the same everywhere. How do some schools teach nails and facials and some don’t?! 🧐. Why do we only get like 6 weeks of “basics”, but have to spend the other 8 months teaching ourselves. 😒. You’re beautiful and don’t let them get you down! Just think about how happier you’ll be when you’ve finally clocked your last hour. You got this 🫶🏼

I was sent home along with some other students for not having any clients, they didn’t have enough instructors on the floor for amount of students so preach why am I singled out for not having a client just because you guys can’t handle keeping instructors

That’s not right I would contact state for you work on your mannequin during that time and practice technique. I’m currently in cosmetology don’t give up. Maybe you can transfer to a different school where they’re gonna give you the proper guidance.
