I feel you. I check the back seat all the time no matter if they are there or not it just instinct to do so. I make mistakes but I never forget my kids

I could never forget my babies in a car. I've always said how do you forget your child. I'm very forgetful but never could forget my babies in a car!!!!!!

I will never judge anyone BUT if you are so distracted with work or life in general that you can let yourself FORGET you have a child in your car then you have ZERO business having children period. I feel for that family but I feel the most for the CHILD who has a parent whose mind is clearly on another planet. I’m no perfect mother but I have depression and anxiety and ADHD some days I forget to take my meds but my CHILDREN are always in the forefront of my mind, ALWAYS. I just don’t think I will ever hear that situation and not feel in my soul that it’s an excuse to forget your child in the car, or flip side KNOWINGLY leaving your children in the car while you run into the grocery store or while running errands.
