💯 And you can’t even blame the employees cause the only answer they get is “get better jobs” but also shamed and locked out of these better jobs. It’s a huge issue that people put people in hierarchy and treat bad or good based off job titles.

You are so speaking the truth.I see it all the time when I go in stores. You can see the dissatisfaction of them. Employees on their faces and how they act towards the customers. I just try to be nice to everybody because you don't know what other people are going through.

so I would consider myself both a libertarian and a free market capitalist but as Winston Churchill said, capitalism only functions properly with a little bit of morality sprinkled into it. a unregulated companies natural State is an authoritarian Monopoly that isn't undeniable. fact freedom is a double-edged sword in that it provides people the freedom to do what they want. but it also provides people the freedom to break that system. so there have to be proper protections in place which there are not because America for far too long has prioritized the needs of businesses over the needs of citizens

It's not just the pay. As someone who worked customer service on the phones one job I had, if a customer was using profanity/inappropriate language, we had to disconnect the call. The second company... no matter what language was used, we weren't allowed to disconnect. We had to get a supervisor but they were never available. So now the employees might can get by with the pay, but the abuse you have to endure compounds the issue
