Inekther word vomit, or I make lists or some combination of the two and then I go back in and start picking out the best bits and work on getting the first draft.

My process is so different. I feel like I can't do anything at times and then sometimes something is downloaded in my brain and then I write like verbal diarrhea then I have to go through it and I'll get like a ton of things done and then when it's all done the first whatever amount that I do if it's a couple thousand words or 10,000 words or 30,000 words and then I'll leave it for a little bit and go back and read it and then I start writing and I don't know where the story is going to go I write it in corners I write it back out it's very weird process. people like oh well just write something I can't always do that I have like 20 manuscripts in varying stages some are completely done not finished editing or copy-edited. but what I do then is if I want to start in on finishing a project then I'll go in reread what I have written get into the zone and start writing. But if I'm blocked and I can't pick up anything and start writing then I'm stuck until the next moment that I have some kind of inspiration.
