Same with money. It's financial abuse. Old folks spend their whole lives being reckless then ask their kids for money .. please.

I’m very proud of our generation for coming together to take care of our health for the purpose of longevity. The older generation needs to set the standard more.

This is exactly why I started eating whole foods and moving more. My parents never took care of themselves and they’re already burdensome in their 50s.

I can definitely see what your saying, but nobody is perfect if I had great parents under no circumstance am I viewing taking care of them as a burden, I would do it in a heartbeat, our parents were there for us when we were difficult ( hopefully most at least ), it’s about not giving up on people without complaining, when you complain and have that heart posture that makes people less likely to want to change in my opinion, you can advocate for someone’s health while also giving them grace and compassion.

My husband mom refuse to do this and expects people to cater to her needs. Very selfish. We can’t really go anywhere and he always have to take care of her. It’s so unfair
