I hate to burst your bubble… but POP! 🫧 Chickens are omnivores. Yep, they’ll eat chicken. And mice. And snakes. And bugs. So when someone freaks out because I tossed them a few rotisserie scraps, I just laugh. That “vegetarian-fed chicken” label you see in stores? It’s not for the chickens. It’s for you—the consumer. In the wild, chickens aren’t grazing in fields of kale. They’re foraging for bugs and small animals. They need protein. They crave protein. And no, giving them leftover meat doesn’t turn them into little cannibal monsters. It’s actually better for them and reduces food waste.
