Right in We Agnostic’s it’s like “as we admitted the possible existence of a creative intelligence, spirit of the universe” And then you get to step 3 and it’s all “God I offer myself to thee…” 😂 and then just continues to refer to Him and God and yeah surrender your whole life to him. You don’t see that chill wording anymore.

When I went to AA it was at my third meeting a sponsor was pushed on me. By the next meeting I was already being stepped with higher power being thrown at me because I was sick and weak ect ect.

My first sponsor told me i could believe in any god I want. Then step three came and I’m on my knees holding hands praying out of the Bible. That’s was the first time o knew I was in the wrong place
