@thecakeflorist: Thinking about starting your baking career for 2025?! Awesome!!! Let me help you!! These are 3 things I wouldn’t spends lots of money on again if I was starting over and why! Avoid overstocking sprinkles! they expire before you can use them all. Excessive sprinkles can lead to cluttered storage spaces, making it harder to organize your baking supplies. Additionally, sprinkles are sensitive to light and moisture, which can cause their colors to fade or bleed, especially in high humidity. Specialty pans such as funny shapes outside of hearts, squares and circles!! You will probably use them 2x and that’s it! They take up way too much space too! Lastly acrylic bench scrapers! They are super cute but they can chip easily, leading to uneven frosting. Metal scrapers are more durable, retain heat, and provide a smoother finish.
