God, I miss the villager interactions from new leaf. The sassiness was so fun. not to mention, they would do more than just come over to your house, or invite you to theirs. they would ask you to play hide-and-seek or do treasure hunts, send you on different quests, or ask you to build certain things in the town. In a new game i would also like there to some kind of relationship mechanic for the villagers. give them best friends and people they don't like. Make their interactions unique, and give you a reason to want different personalities. Make them like, throw house parties or brunches and invite their friends. And keep the fun interactions once you become best friends with them! it feels like in new horizons, all the unique dialogue and silly questions go away once you max out friendship. kinda defeats the purpose of becoming friends with them
