Probably instead of raising landing gear up he switched off fuel switches because of mental fog. Maybe he was on medication that made his mind unemotional and numb. This happens with anti depressants.

why i continue not to fly. I was in a car with a guy hanging out when I was 18. he started saying that he was tired of living and hed hit the next car we saw head on. then he started speeding up. I had to tuck n roll out of a moving car into a ditch. then he tried to run me over before giving up n fleeing the scene. never again.

Hear me out: I always guess the ending of most shows so what if the other pilot knew that the black box would record this so they wanted to pin it on the captain.

I think they need to investigate the personal life of the main pilot. The captain sometime people are going through emotions mentally physically, especially when there is an emotional involvement like a family or something.
