to the critics in the comments, the runner is entitled to a pathe TO the plate not THROUGH it. that catcher was not blocking the plate and was also making a play on the ball. That runner is out, ejected, and suspended in today's game.

Bad take on number 3. Hits like that are way beyond what is safe and acceptable. That baserunner intentionally lowered his shoulder for unnecessary contact, and as such the father was 100% correct for calling it out

Game has changed. You can’t truck a catcher in the MLB, much less 14U baseball. Runner is out and ejected, Parent is ejected and escorted out, catcher gets an ice back and some advil. Hope that kid is ok.
