Ma’am. Quran was literally sent down to the prophet. Creator himself did not bring Quran down. Every word of the Quran are words that came out of prophet’s pure lips. and authentic Hadiths are also words that came out of his pure lips. That’s why both Quran and Hadith are important. Without Prophet you wouldn’t know anything about God. You needed him. We needed him. And that’s why we need to give importance to hadiths as much as Quran. He was not an ordinary man. He was the chosen one. That’s simply why we have to follow hadiths as well. But we obviously need to research before believing in any Hadiths. 🤗

I do believe she was 9 y’all. There’s also the story about Ibrahim (AS) being commanded to sacrifice his son. Morality is not objective, it is determined by what Allah legislates. I’m ALL for thinking but the truth of Islam does not have to line up with modern, western moral values..like what is even the measure of that? we living in a moment in time. The story of Al-Khidr in the Quran shows us there are levels to knowledge and righteousness that we don’t understand. And Allah knows best and he is the MOST MERCIFUL

Just wanted to share that there are actually different scholarly views on Aisha RA's age. While many of us grew up hearing she was nine, some scholars, using the age of her sister Asma RA as a reference, suggest she may have been in her late teens, around seventeen to nineteen. Interpretations vary. That said, this is not to justify child marriage in today's context. Norms were very different back then, and what was once culturally acceptable is not appropriate or acceptable now.

Hadith was written 250 years after his death, and then it was compiled together in books 30 years later. Some Hadith are literally quotes from the Bible. The prophet was repeatedly quoted in the Quran telling people he does not know the future or the unseen. There are so many Hadith that contradict the Quran yet they don’t reason. —-And the Messenger will say, “My Lord, indeed my people have taken this Quran as [something] abandoned.” (25:30)—-
