I’ve always had the exact same thought!!! Where was grocery delivery back in those days? I was always so self conscious. I would hide things under my other groceries lol.

I was a cashier in a drug store in HS and college. We see so many customers each day that we really don’t pay attention to what they are buying.

Cashiers check out so many people with so many random things they don’t even think about it. It’s just another sale. Two seconds after the sale I couldn’t tell you what you bought

My ex brother in law used to buy stuff just to mess with the cashier's. He was buying condoms to be a response male and wanted a soda so got a Mnt Dew as well. Just to mess with the cashier he also bought duct tape. I was with him bc I needed to go to the store and I thought omg the cops are going to follow us home.
