Was such a nice feeling to see cursor (running claude) do a git reset —hard origin/main on my feature branch, because his reasoning understood that his first approach of a small task was going nowhere.. wasnt ready for this kind of yolo mode 😂

Don't write code with AI, have the AI break code down into organizational units for you, step by step for a logic, and then tell it to run test data and show the results and outcomes. Then fix it yourself. Never trust it to write a block of code, it will give you a block of sharp cheddar.

had the same issue with gpt4.1 ...then I switched to claude 4. costs but works.

yeah, I'm a newbie a coding and the only useful thing I've learned using Ai is asking it to show me basic examples, simple functions, and array tricks if I can't find examples elsewhere.
