Without faith it is impossible to please God. I’ve been waiting on a wife for over 3 years. It has been very difficult. I have made many mistakes. My final conclusion is to treat it like how Jesus’s mother did: I hid the things in my heart (and acted accordingly). Now I act in obedience.

I’m trying to learn how to hear the lord. Did you have this as a thought (like your own inner monologue) and knew it was the lord or how did it sound? I’m a new Christian and learning to hear Gods voice is something I’m working on. Thank you!

When I hear the word expectantly, I don’t think you need to guard your heart. I take it as ‘wait hopefully’ - Hopeful, Joyfully, excited. I LOVE looking back on God’s hand in my life and to me it feels like a gift - waiting on a gift to see what He does. ❤️

I thank Him before I’ve received what I’m waiting on. I stay focused and grounded in Him. And I’m still waiting on this healing and restoration. I’ve been waiting for years. But I know in His perfect Will and timing that he Will answer according to His purpose. I don’t let my circumstances shake me. He’s not worried, so I tell myself..why am I? He’s got me!

this is a walk by faith, praying ps91 with a hedge of protection with those wings know I'm as close to sitting on His lap staying away from others so that peace is preserved. And you know all this but pulling on others strengths that stand of where you are watching for the manifestation of that He's promised. enjoy

Idk. I have been expectant but have also had the enemy fight my faith in expectancy. There’s a fine line between trusting in zgod fully and his ability to do something and living in the joy of his ability. But standing firm when there is retaliation because the truth is the enemy hates the fact we even have breath, and tries to come against us in times where we are expectant because he hates faith. I find that those are just the times i have to stand firm and be reminded of his patterns and tactics but not be moved.

Do not wait passively. Wait rooting yourself and grounding yourself in who God is and how his character is revealed through Jesus. Wake up and say Jesus I know you are working, I know you are moving. Say I appreciate the way you are doing things even when I can’t directly see or perceive them.

Too often I hear ppl speak about waiting expectantly for something big bc Hes a big God.. yes, but I feel in my spirit we can want and ask a thing and surrender to outcome He lays before us knowing it is best bc He is a good Father. We have to be ok with what He reveals and where we are at.
