It is a tree-like plant species of the genus yucca from the Mojave desert range (the field) I’m from the southwest and think they are beautiful, we used to go through it every year at Christmas traveling between family and I always wanted to put lights on one 🥰

You're valid for the tree thing, but those pictures aren't giving a good picture of it. Joshua Tree is MILES long and has gorgeous rock formations and just like stunning landscape

YES THANK YOU! People clowned me when I found out a place that everyone just called “Joshua Tree” wasn’t a huge ass tree that had some kinda historical significance with a Joshua. Hello, Plymouth Rock? Liberty Bell? Why wouldn’t I have thought it was a massive tree? 🙄

As a Joshua from California who's always had complicated feelings about Joshua trees and Joshua Tree National Park, I want to affirm this video. Does it make sense? No. Does it make sense it was the Mormons and that was why? Yes. Is it a bush? A tall one yeah. Down with Joshua Tree.
