😂😂😂😂 You’re hilarious!!! Jesus instituted the Eucharist on Holy Thursday, during the Last Supper, the night before his crucifixion. This event is described in the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and in 1 Corinthians. He took bread, blessed it, broke it, and gave it to his disciples, saying it was his body, and then took a cup of wine, saying it was his blood. He instructed them to repeat this in his memory.

As a Lutheran, we had communion. We took all of the same classes as children at church as Catholics. They don't even know. 🤦♀️

this is wild to me. I've never heard this before. I'm Catholic, went to Catholic School 🙄😂, grew up in both Catholic and Baptist Church...my dad was Baptist which is a whole story about my parents marriage in the church but I digress...but I was able to take communion in both churches and this was never taught to me as an issue. this is fascinating to me.

I do NOT take communion when visiting a church that isn’t my faith. That is out of respect for their ideology and beliefs for who take communion. I do take communion at my church.

I don't really claim a denomination anymore but I was raised Pentecostal, went to several different churches growing up including a few baptist when I went with friends, and we took communion at almost all of them. I mean, Jesus was technically the first to offer communion and he was Jewish so I don't really think Catholics have any right to claim it as their own.

There was an argument with a girl saying they don’t pray to Mary and the saints. They talk to them. In my head: so…you pray to them. Cause we “have a little talk with Jesus.” And He Himself said no one comes to the Father but through me. I have no doubt there will be all denominations in heaven. Just, He said what He said.

Wild take here - but I believe that Jesus says that anyone can come to him and reach the Father, and to do communion in remembrance of Him. That's it. It doesn't matter which 'denomination' - we all follow Jesus Christ, right? Even in the New Testament, Paul addresses this VERY issue: 1 Corinthians 1:10-15.

Even the LDS church(which most mainstream Christianians belives isnt Christians) allows you to participate in our communion if you are not a member. If visiting you dont have to if not a member, but "dont have to" is alot different then "can't."

I grew up Catholic and have never heard this. When I go to church now it's at a non-denominational one and we take communion.

Why do people argue with you? lolol...Baptists and Methodists both do communion. It's not just a catholic thing.. Christianity isn't a religion,it's a way of life,believing,faith..We are all Christians by definition kn. But Catholics are not the end all be all or the only all and gate keep what ever they can.
