I think the fact that he is cheating with the head of HR is the reason losing his job is being discussed. my guess is there are HR rules at the company against leaders diddling their subordinates. So in my opinion that’s why his job is also being discussed as issue outside of just getting caught. Both of them work for the same company with the same rules and are in leadership

People do cheat all the time but that doesn’t make it right. Maybe if there were consequences it wouldn’t happen as much. Enabling it doesn’t help

Someone created a the fake apology. He has not spoken yet. His company board are in a nightmare situation and trying to figure out how to handle it. FAFO he is done and so is the hr lady
