I had this EXACT issue. I took the pins out, cleaned them well, greased them & put them back & it’s still doing it !!😒

I just had that noise..I took it to auto repair n they said they need to changed rotor n break pad..which cost me $600 for front two rotor..did u get scamed?

to much grease can also give you the issue of the slide pins will sort of hydrolock the pins out and they won't slide all the way in
