@matthewdeanstewart: Who else has intense ADHD as an adult? And how do you cope with it (sans medication?) #adhd #MentalHealth #mensmentalhealth #adhdtiktok
I was diagnosed with ADHD when I was 29, and hearing you talk about is making me feel so seen.

Yeah, at work I'm usually super organized and on top of things, at home I'm messy and just don't care as much. Or it takes me longer to organize and clean some things (I do get there eventually tho)

I literally caved and hired someone to help me clean. I dont know if I have it, I take stuff for it, but ive changed meds multiple times

I'm a hyper performer on everything except my personal interests. Convinced myself I'm just lazy and lack discipline despite success at work. My spouse has similar symptoms and was diagnosed this year. so I decided to stop beating myself up and am finally seeking answers from professionals.

Not me questioning if I should get tested for adhd now. I’m the same way with cleaning, and the bed making, and as far as school goes I thought I wasn’t trying hard enough. So many questions now lol

As someone with adhd, talking about it and how the symptoms present in your life are great at getting rid of the stigma.
