@apple.user99567532: I’ll also add that those devices didn’t show an ip address like they were online but our current devices did. A system update where it would try to ping those old devices at the same time makes a lot more sense in the grand scheme of things #ringcamera #ringdoorbell
The devices linked to mine were completely foreign to me. They were not old devices.

Well that’s the point of hacking. They find a way around the 2-factor authentication. What you’re referring to is phishing where people get a hold of your password and try to log in using your stolen password and username.
